Here's a Johnny Benson 1:43 scale model car from a couple of decades ago that's NOS, and very nice. The contents are new, of course, and the packaging is pretty good as well. The thing to note is that the top quarter of the package was creased in a couple of places (contents not disturbed), and on the back, it appears that near the top a price tag was probably removed, which also removed some of the print.
