Okay, so maybe it wasn't exactly the Thrilla in Manilla, but some people took this as an event of similar magnitude. The winner?
Well, actually it was a tie between DC and Marvel, as both companies saw a pretty good spike in sales before, during, and after the event. It's amazing how opposing sides can make nice if a little green is on the table.
The insert was only 8 pages, but printed on glossy paper and was chock-full of action scenes promoting the battle set for the end of 1995.
