When you consider that Mike Piazza was the LAST player selected in the 1988 MLB draft, his career is even more incredible. An MLB Hall-of-Famer, Piazza holds a boatload of hitting records by a catcher.
As far as the packaging goes, this is not exactly the best condition of Starting Lineup packaging we've come across. First of all, there is significant yellowing of the plastic, typically an indicator of too much sun. Secondly, it appears that the plastic separated from the cardboard and the figurine may have been removed. Make no mistake, the figure is as good as new, but the packaging itself is a bit suspect.
